THE MOST FASCINATING THING I HAVE DONE IN CLASS 6
THE
MOST FASCINATING THING I HAVE DONE IN CLASS 6
‘Innovation is the end result of all true
learning.’-Leo Buscaglia
My
class 6 sessions was by far the best session till date as all of my teachers
and friends were the way I dreamt of. DREAM? Yes, it was indeed a dream that I
had that night before the first day of my school for that new session. Life in
that dream brought all my close friends near me. I got up to get ready for the
school, went to the school and OMG! Is it called “Dreams come true”? Most of
them were in my class. The session for the whole year became as amazing as it
could be though the number of subjects had increased.
It
was flowing full of fun and days of summer vacation arrived. We were given a few
craft homework by our teacher. One morning, I was completing those craft work
with different craft papers bought from market. In between I stared out of the
window and found that our gardener was burning the old newspapers outside in
the lawn. Smokes surfaced through the air creating severe pollution in the
surrounding. My eyes started burning like anything and I could not continue my
work further. I splashed some water in my eyes and lied down in bed. I started
thinking of possibilities of any alternative which could be utilized in a
constructive way. Why should we burn something that we created and create
nuisance in atmosphere which is in all sense harmful and poisonous to us?
Why couldn’t we create something out of it which was beneficial to us and our
surroundings? Why couldn’t I contribute with the knowledge that my teachers had
imparted with care to us? Was it not the call of the day to apply that
knowledge? Yes. I got the response of my inner soul. This was the time to
recollect those learning and apply to bring betterment which could preserve
fresh air full of oxygen. I jumped out of the bed and started surfing internet.
Was there anything possible to reuse those papers? My computer said: “Yes, it
is possible; you can use it in your craft work taught by your own teacher”. I
browsed my school’s craft copy to explore that there were many items like pen
stand, flower vase, etc., shown by our teacher, could be made with old
newspapers. I found this subject interesting as it gave an alternative way of
recycling and reusing of newspapers. I also made paper bags from those
newspapers. You the person who is reading, can also try these methods as it
will help your concern of reducing plastic in day to day life. It will also
reduce deforestation by reducing use of objects like wooden pen stand and frame
which are obtained by cutting trees. These small steps can initiate our own
“Think clean to go Green, Go Green to keep this world clean” objective and save
our mother earth from dirt and
pollution.
Now
due to COVID 19 lockdown we all are confined at home. We can’t go to our second
home which is our school, we are missing our friends and our beloved teachers.
We are missing our days of childhood. My parents are saying that psychologists
are recommending that children should get involved in different activities. I
don’t know but taking it as proverb, I did recollect and realized that the
craft that I learned in class 6, can give me the way to utilize my time
generously. I have started making more innovative things by which I can
contribute profusely to the society as a whole.
Learning
to surf internet was one of the most fascinating things that I could expertise
in class 6. I created my own Google account and learned to manage it. This is
helping me now. HOW? Today, during the time of lockdown when our online
classes are going on in full swing, my learning are helping me to handle my own
class matters single handedly and without the help of my parents, to be
precise.
During
the period of lockdown, everyone must stay at home as we have to fight against
the COVID-19 epidemic and staying at home is the only vaccine for this virus.
Stay home, stay safe. Use your time to innovate new ideas, implement “Make in
India" initiative and contribute to our nation.

SAVE WATER -SAVE EARTH
On the other hand lack of proper sanitation inIndia is also responsible for making our holy river dirty. INDIAcelebrated it's 66th INDEPENDENCE DAY but truely how many of us have done something for this nation.Statistics conducted by UNICEF in the year 2008 have shown that only 31% of India's population is using improved sanitation facilities . A UN study observed more people in India having access to a mobile phone than to a toilet as in 2010.Just 366million people (30.5%)had access to proper sanitation.

CHANGES IN LIFE................
Just back from the get together .............thinking about the early days .With time people's way of thinking also changes.;Feeling very nostalgic..........before getting merried whenever my parents used to tell me about an invitation I simply used to deny .I never liked to join any gatherings ,because i used to get bore.I was happy with my work schedule in my student life ....and later with my my job.I never liked to go somewhere where there are lots of people looking at me and the place where I can't be like how I am.
Now ,at present situation when i have to quit my job for my daughter...I have to stay back at home....no relatives, no friends ....no duties other than family I really get bore. Now I want to mix with people ,Iwant to make friends,Iwant to get back to my teaching proffession .........but all seems running away from me .Now I realise why we should always be in touch with our relatives....our friends .....its only because some time they become our medicine for our lonely life. Mixing with people knowing them sometimes helps us to solve our problem.
I realised that the thought came to my mind after I became mother. Before that I never had such strong feeling to mix up.
With parenting lots of changes comes . As you go on teaching your child you too have lots of things to learn from your kids. Your patience and love also grows with your child. You learn to cope with worst situation by handling them.My daughter is now 4yrs. old and now I realize those changes in me . When I joined school I used to see the tensed parents living there child for the first time in school and think why on earth they are so worried.Am I going to beat there child? But believe me friends when that time came to me I was shaking.......looking at my daughter shouting and crying.I couldn't move from the school gate and after 2hrs I came home with my daughter. That experience made me think many things.
It made me apolozise to those parents whom I always used to avoid because of their worries for their child. It's really true that unless you have one child you miss out many emotions in this world and you never understand others feelings.
I am blessed to have one .Thanks to the almighty to give me an oppotunity to go through all such emotions and understand other .Now I think it would be more easier for me to handle other parents when I will start again with my teaching proffession.

ARISE,AWAKE & ACT
Finally all our celebrations is ending up for this year with CHRISTMAS.Next year everything will be revised in new ways & means. People here in India, had really a tough time this year, specially the poor people who are still below poverty line. The price hike in petrol and Diesel products compounded to the hike in prices of vegetable and food items. The amount of hike happened in all spheres have put their life in dire straits. The rise in price of Diesel has made cost of food grains higher due to rise in cost of transport. How those down trodden people whose earnings are even below Rs. 50.00 per day will survive with a family of two on top? We all talk about the rise in population in this country and blame the issue as the major reason of putting us in back step. But how far do we take steps at our end to resolve the issue? How many of us actually take any interest to educate those people on this issue? People from rich and upperclass society always boast about their affluence but how many of them in real terms take the pain to adopt a child from those houses?
The answer is very less in all cases. Then, how the new borns in those houses will get those basic medicines and food to develop? Why do we expect that the agenda "Rise in Population" will get solved in natural terms. Its absurd in my view.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE YEAR 2012? I think we all had same question in our mind .No one knows what future has in store for us but we all know that time which has gone will never return .
God knows how these poor people will manage in this regime of inflation? How the next generation is going to survive if this situation persists. Is there any solution? Earlier in this year, we got number of scams & scandals. And now the case of raising prices of any basic requirements of an human being which are food ,cloth & shelter.
Nobody who are in power and have wealth is bothered about this prime issue .When will these people awake of the duties they expected to perform? Its definite that at-least in any subconscious state of mind, they receive the call of their soul but when will they actually listen to their souls? The answer is:
NO........Atleast NOT FOR NOW...
BUT LET'S HOPE FOR THE BEST....................
AND lets "WELCOME 2012"

Durgapur: A place for must visit
This holy place has a story of its own .It is called BHIRINGI SAMSAN KALI MANDIR .
The local people here believe that whatever you wish before her gets fulfilled if done with all your faith & respect. This Mandir (Temple) is related with my marriage also .My husband was not getting married for long time .So someone said my mother-in-law to make a wish before goddess kali for his son's marriage and she did it.When finally we got married my mother-in-law took us to the temple and offerd Prayer (Puja).
The temple was established in the year 1259 & later it was later rebuilt in the year 1383 .It 's foundation was laid by Gurudev Akshay Kr. Roy.
At the left hand side of KALI MANDIR, there is a HANUMAN MANDIR where lots of pilgrims pay there homage. Other mandirs like Ganesh temple and Bhairav temple also stay adjacent to that KALI Mandir..At the front, there is Shiv mandir .And at last there is SHESH NAG sitting under a tree .

A TRIBUTE TO MY FATHER ON THIS FATHERS DAY
I narrate an incident which touched my heart long years back .I am going to share it with you all. When I was in the years of my final year Bachelor Degree ,my brother was getting ready for his Board exam.I and my father went to the school to see where my brother was going to give exam. Some cows were there grazing outside the school gate. When we got out of the gate all of a sudden one cow came rushing towards me .For a second I was at a fix ,but within a moment, I saw my father in front of me holding the horns of the cow and pushing it back .He got hurt at his stomach in that course of action, but he didn't utter a single word. That was the day when I realized the love of my father towards me and that made me think about him again .
